Rose Cathy Handy has been the CEO of H.E.R Consulting & Services inc for over 20 years offering, extensive expertise in development, empowerment and career development.
She is also the President of Bilingual Link and has been responsible for helping over 50,000 people find work, thereby improving their lives through access to information, publications, job fairs, research, seminars, training, etc. Bilingual Link is an organization that helps connect employers with bilingual candidates. Established in 1998, it is a social enterprise that helps candidates find work in the bilingual (French/English) market. The organization provides a platform for “suppliers and seekers” to share bilingual opportunities in jobs, career, training, business and services.
Rose has become a well-known and respected community leader, advocate, executive, as well as a creative and successful entrepreneur. She likes to inspire more people to succeed, have the career or business of their dreams, live with passion and get the results they are striving for.
Highlights of her life story were showcased on TVO, CTV, More Magazine, the TorontoStar, RDI-Radio Canada, as well as other media. In 2011, Rose published her book entitled “Going from Homeless to CEO, the no excuse handbook.”
An award-winning business woman, Rose brings a common sense approach to help find solutions for the problems that ruin the success of immigrants, francophones and Black Women; as well as help future entrepreneurs and small business owners structure their ideas and goals to carve a practical vision for their success. Through her keynote addresses and presentations, she inspires women, Executives, young people and leaders with her stories and wisdom to empower them through seasoned principles and tested strategies to triumph over any challenge in life.
She has been a coach, a mentor and a role model to a great number of women, immigrants, francophones, leaders and entrepreneurs locally and around the world.
